As part of this year's Sparkassen Chess Trophy, every player has the chance to win a free invitation to Dortmund 2023, including a hotel room. Simply take part in the Sparkassen NC Online Open and win!
"No Castling Chess" will be played in the Online Open of the 49th International Dortmund Chess Days. There will be three preliminary rounds on lichess.org to qualify for the grand final on 24 July:
16.07.2022: 14.00 hrs (preliminary 1)
17.07.2022: 10.00 hrs (preliminary 2)
18.07.2022: 18.00 hrs (preliminary 3)
24.07.2022: 10.00 hrs (finals)
The overall winner will be invited to participate in the 50th Dortmund International Chess Days in the A-Open and will receive accommodation and breakfast in the players' hotel for the duration of the tournament. The players in 2nd and 3rd place may participate in the 50th Dortmund International Chess Days free of charge. And participants in this year's Sparkassen Open in Dortmund are of course also allowed to take part in the Sparkassen NC Online Open as well.
