GM Max Warmerdam concludes his excellent tournament with the tournament victory in the Sparkassen Open A.

Last year he already won a preliminary round ahead of GM Krishnan Sasikiran, this year he won the second preliminary round and then today the grand final of the Sparkassen NC Online Open 2022.

He led the entire tournament and secured the tournament victory with a draw in the last round: Congratulations to Artem Dyachuk!

The Sparkassen Open B is already underway, as is the final of the NC Sparkassen Online Open on lichess. The other 5 competitions go into the last round at 13:30.
