Today, Saturday, five events of the 49th International Dortmund Chess Days kicked off with a total of 493 active players, from beginners to top grandmasters.
In the first preliminary tournament of this year's Online Open in "No Castling Chess", Jonas Gallasch (photo: Deutsche Schachjugend) emerged as the winner on Saturday with 56 participants on lichess.org.
With 234 participants, the Sparkasen Open B of the International Dortmund Chess Days started punctually at 10:30 am.
